Abstract

This paper is a continuation of the article devoted to tools for building an individual learning path (ILP). The concept of the learning path of an individual (LPI) is introduced. LPI is a sequence of learning activities that a student has undergone over a period of time. Recent studies related to ILP are analyzed. It was found that the issues of quantitative analysis and comparison of different ILPs are given insufficient attention. It is proposed to measure the quality of LPI using the LPI quality index (ILPI). There are two main applications of ILPI. The first is the choice of the best LPI for an individual, and the second is to monitor the quality of the implementation of learning paths in a population or a particular group. The basis for calculating the index is information about learning blocks. For them, the invested resources, time and the received result are fixed. All them are located in the coordinate system of X - reasonability, Y - satisfaction, Z - organizational format. The proposed scheme for calculating the main index and visualization of intermediate data allows you to quickly identify "red" and "green" areas of the learning path. The proposed method can be used to assess the learning path options. The link to the current prototype of the analysis and calculation of the LPI quality index is provided http://www.potok.org.ua/oti
