Abstract

The paper is dedicated to the important problem of cognitive activity intensification of trainees attending a pre-university training course in mathematics. Special attention is drawn to active teaching methods stimulating the trainees‟ cognitive activity. The role of the methodological system in the chain «secondary school – pre-university training – university» has been established.
