Abstract

The Analytical Report presents the results of a qualitative sociological study of the needs and problems facing teachers in the process of civic parliamentary education, as well as the attitude of students to the content and methods of teaching GPP, their civic attitudes and activities. During the focus groups, 28 pedagogical workers working in educational institutions of different types were interviewed. 1304 educators and 2542 schoolchildren from most regions of Ukraine took part in the online survey. Based on the results of the survey, recommendations were formulated for stakeholders in order to more widely introduce civic parliamentary education in the educational process of general secondary and out-of-school education institutions. The conclusions are given and recommendations can be used in the formation of educational programs of educational institutions, in the implementation of professional development of educators in the system of postgraduate pedagogical education, taken into account in the activities of the Educational Center of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, educational authorities, educational institutions and public organizations working with children and youth.
