Abstract
Until now, the paradigm of using information and communication technologies to support the learning process, directly to improve the quality of education at all levels of the educational process, is relevant and attractive. However, the potential risks of using various forms and tools of information and communication technology learning, including the risks of the spread and use of technology in everyday life and the ambiguous impact on the health of students in the process of learning using ICT, are not realized. In such circumstances, it is important for parents, teachers and society to respond adequately to the ongoing changes by considering a system of measures aimed at preserving the health of the younger generation. Today, terms and concepts such as "e-learning", "e-pedagogy", "e-textbook", "e-book", etc., are widely used, borrowed from the English language. Very often they are not differentiated or explained. There is a certain chaos of definitions, due, in our opinion, the crisis of science, the lack of conceptual and terminological apparatus, different approaches of the authors to the interpretation of certain processes, as well as multifaceted, multidimensional and contradictory components included in certain definitions.
