Abstract
The article is devoted to the theoretical substantiation of the basic principles of realization of profile training in senior classes of secondary schools of Ukraine from the point of view in the period from 2011 to 2017 from the point of view of various conceptual approaches. The key guidelines for reforming the general secondary education system are outlined, as presented in the legal documents, in particular: ‘Concepts of specialized education in high school’ (2013); ‘Concept of the New Ukrainian School’ (2016); updated version of the Law of Ukraine ‘On Education’ (2017); ‘Draft concept of education development in Ukraine for the period 2015-2025’ (2018), Draft conceptual framework for reforming vocational education in Ukraine ‘Modern vocational education’ (2018), etc. The author’s definition of ‘profile education’ is given, which should be considered as a means of differentiation and individualization of education, which allows due to changes in the goals, content and structure of the educational process, taking into account educational needs, inclinations and abilities of students. self-determination. An extensive description of the concept of ‘profile training’ at the conceptual level is given. The study focused on the innovative nature of modern profile education, which is characterized by the following ideas, namely: end-to-end profile education; socially conditioned principles of selection of the content of education; elective way of profiling; change of priority forms of organization of educational process; formation of life competencies; availability of innovative solutions to determine the content of profile education and learning outcomes. The conceptual approaches on which the content of education in profile classes of secondary schools is based are described: systemic, personality-oriented, complex, integrative, psychosocial, axiological, culturological, acmeological, competence, active, synergistic, reflexive, environmental.
