Abstract
The theses show that the matrix of multicultural education on this basis can become real in the following conditions: the appropriate cultural policy of the state, proclaims support for the identity of each ethnic group, makes it possible for the all-round development of a person, assertion of its dignity in the context of the life-giving forces of the culture of its people; improving the curriculum of educational institutions at all levels and replenishing the curriculum with such disciplinary courses as "intercultural communication", "ethnopsychology", "Critical pedagogy", "civic education", "ethnology", etc.; creation of new textbooks and improvement of existing ones, excluding any manifestations of propaganda of national or cultural superiority and incitement of xenophobia; production of new teaching methods based on practice-oriented activities (cultural-role, partnership-intercultural, regulatory-incentive, etc.).
