Abstract

The publication presents versification as an effective tool for developing students' speech and intellectual abilities. The author considers versification as a system of exercises that form and develop children's ability to express themselves in poetic form, as well as show literary talent. Work on versification is carried out in several stages. It gives children the opportunity to experience the joy of creativity.
