Abstract
One of the most important aspects of the well-being of children with developmental disabilities is the creation of appropriate favorable conditions around them, including the atmosphere in the family circle. The efforts made by parents to do this are accompanied by a constant solution to difficult life problems both in their own family and society, which leads to internal imbalance, mental stress and the body's response to stress. Over time, there are fears, tantrums, confusion, depression, loneliness and uselessness. The object of empirical research was the phenomenon of emotional burnout in parents, the subject of the relationship of personal characteristics with the level of emotional burnout in parents. The aim of the study was to investigate the role of personal factors in the emergence of the phenomenon of emotional burnout in parents raising children with developmental disabilities.
