Abstract

The article justifies the peculiarities of monitoring the quality of senior pupils’ progress in learning mathematics within the system of pre-university training. The peculiar features of using different kinds of checking the mathematical background of senior pupils – admission, current, intermediate, and final checks – have been established. The estimates of the quality of senior pupils’ academic progress in mathematics within the system of pre-university training for their studying at an engineering university have been presented.
