Abstract
The results of conceptual-categorical analysis of the problem of physic-mathematical training of upperclassmen are presented in the paper. Among the basic concepts used researching the problem of physic-mathematical training of upperclassmen for their studies at a technical university the author points out the following ones: «training for studies», «physico-mathematical education», «physico-mathematical training» and the resultant concert physico-mathematical training of upperclassmen for their studies at a technical university». Besides the above mentioned concepts. Which are defined by the purpose of the research, such concepts as «pre-university training», «professional interest», «professional self-determination», and «professional orientation» also bear an instrumental and substantive load.
