Abstract

The source base of the problem of training senior pupils for their further studies at a university is analyzed in the paper. The various groups of sources considered in the paper are: researches on the methodology and philosophy of education as well as on sociology, psychology, and history; general-theoretic works in the field of psychology and pedagogy; scholarly works resulted from investigations of education organization and content as well as of models and technologies of pre-university training of senior pupils; regulations in the field of secondary and higher education; works on the content, selection, and peculiarities of physico-mathematical education at higher educational institutions.
