Abstract

The paper presents an analysis of the major methodological approaches to the problem of physico-mathematical training of senior pupils in the context of their preparation for studies at an engineering university – (expertise, person-oriented, activity-oriented, and system approaches). The peculiarity of considering the methodology of the problem under study at the level of philosophical knowledge as well as at the fundamental-science and concrete-science levels has been established. A conclusion has been made about the need of using motivation and socialization theories in research with the purpose of complex analysis of the problem of physico-mathematical training of senior pupils.
