Abstract
In the article substantiates the feasibility of creating a method for diagnosing the capture of online games with material costs. Internet addiction test by K. S. Young that was modification for this tasks is given. The created tool was called the Method of diagnostics of online-games with material costs. In the article presents the results of study, which indicate high reliability, discriminatory power and validity of the method. The factor structure of the modified method is similar to the results obtained by K. Young for the original test. The factors obtained in the process of studying construct validity are related with the phenomenological features characteristic of chemical and non-chemical addictions, that confirms the validity of the method. Proposed a criterion-based norm which allows to separate persons captured by online-games with material costs at the level previous to addiction from ordinary consumers of games.
