Abstract

The structure, content and methodological apparatus of the competency-oriented textbook provide the formation of basic knowledge about natural phenomena, mastering basic concepts, terms, laws, algorithmic methods of solving problems, acquiring experimental skills and research skills, and holistic ideas about the physical picture of the world, apply scientific research methods in solving life problems. The methodical apparatus of such textbooks distinguishes the following main components: system of exercises (tasks and questions); instructional materials (memos, instructions, algorithms, samples, etc.); means of stimulating cognitive interest. Its functions are aimed at solving the most important tasks - to teach students to learn and develop readiness to apply physical knowledge, which is the leading key competence.
