Abstract
In the article, on the basis of scientific literature analysis and obtained statistical data there was analyzed and investigated a problem and practice of motivation of pedagogical staff of professional (vocational and technical) education establishments (P(VT)ES) for innovative activity, and also features of psychological readiness for innovative activity of professional (vocational and technical) education establishments’ educators. Moreover, there were considered psychological internal obstacles to the introduction of innovative activities in the professional activities of educators as well as the main characteristics of an innovative personality. It is determined that the motivators for innovation in modern conditions are: wages increase, expanding rights of employees, reduction of duties, improvement of moral and psychological climate in a teaching team, increase of prestige and socio-professional status of innovators, provision of more independence and responsibility in work, improving opportunities for self-development and refresher training, compliance of innovations with traditions and norms that were established at an educational institution. Barriers, that de-motivate pedagogical staff and create internal obstacles to innovative activities are: uncertainty, a sense of loss, conviction that a change will bring nothing good. It is established that at each stage of the innovation process it is necessary to apply appropriate motives of employees, a motivation to success is a motivation for innovation activity in the P(VT)ES educational environment, and motivation to avoid – is an opposite trend and the basis for appearance of barriers to professional activity in general . As a result of empirical research there were defined general tendencies of motivation for innovative activity of pedagogical staff within professional (vocational and technical) education system.
