Abstract
Content reforms concerned the relationship between theoretical and applied components, their priority. IN different years, different tasks were set: to strengthen career guidance (applied) orientation content, to bring the content of courses to modern mathematics (introduced set-theoretic concept), the elimination of formalism in students' knowledge. Today the general requirement is to increase y the content of the textbook of the specific weight of the application component, which will provide the ability to act successfully in educational and life situations, to carry out future professional activity. Theoretical material needs to be more closely linked to applied material.
