Abstract

In terms of the the current social and political conditions, the introduction of the competence approach in educational system, self-government in the upper secondary school is represented. The main effective strategies of the organization of self-government in the upper secondary school in the USA is examined. The main benchmarks for the development of self-government in the upper secondary school in Ukraine are suggested.
