Abstract
The formation of key scientific concepts in students is the most important task of every teacher, due to the components and structure of the system of physical knowledge. Such a system contains scientific facts, concepts, physical laws, theories, principles, ideas about the holistic picture of the world. Almost all components of the system of physical knowledge have in their composition such a logical category as "concept", the full assimilation of the content of which is the key to successful teaching of physics in primary school. In the basic course various types of scientific concepts are studied: forms of existence of matter - matter and field, properties of bodies, physical quantities that quantitatively characterize natural processes and phenomena, devices, machines, equipment.
