Abstract

The main provisions of the report for the Presidium of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine (September 17, 2020) revealing the results of a basic research are highlighted. The concept for preventing and overcoming negative psychological phenomena in the political and legal sphere related to the armed confrontation in the eastern part of the country are presented. It is emphasized that it is necessary to have two approaches to the interpretation of the negative psychological consequences of the military conflict in the eastern part of Ukraine. The first of them is social and psychological approach, the second is political and legal approach. The negative phenomena that occur in each of the mentioned areas are described in detail. The main social and psychological symptoms of the negative psychological consequences in the political and legal sphere related to the military conflict are commented. Three groups of regularities of occurrence and influence of negative psychological phenomena in the political and legal sphere under the military conflict are substantiated: system regularities, regularities of manifestation of paternalism and regularities of the population attitude to the weapon and military conflict in general. Strategies for preventing negative psychological phenomena in the political and legal sphere related to the armed confrontation in the eastern part of the country and overcoming these phenomena at three levels (macro level, meso level and micro level) are presented.
