Abstract
Modern living conditions, the tensions that have arisen in society as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, have led to the emergence of a large number of people who have not been able to adapt effectively to the new conditions and need urgent support from both psychologists and psychiatrists. Unfortunately, the concept of maladaptation remains poorly defined, which affects the separation of psychiatric and psychological care.
