Abstract
Introduction. The quality of vocational education depends on the level of professional competence of educators, their ability to self-education, readiness for innovation and professional development. Purpose. To highlight the key points of creating an environment for professional development of a vocational school educators. Methods. Theoretical methods of analysis and generalization of scientific literature, systematization and generalization of the received information. Results. The article outlines the key points of creating an environment for professional development of vocational school educators. The definitions of concepts «professional development», «environment of professional development» are given. The role of lifelong learning in the formation of professional qualities of educators is noted. Separately highlighted the issues related to the practice of introducing foreign experience in the professional development of vocational school educators. Originality. In general, the forms of professional development of educators present the concept of organizing the work of the methodological service in the vocational education system, describe the integration of non-formal and informal education in the professional development of educators. Conclusion. According to the results of the study, it was established that the professional development of educators is a lifelong learning process, its purpose is to ensure the high quality of the educational process. Professional development of educators is usually carried out in an appropriate environment through the implementation of various forms, methods, teaching techniques. Motivation is an important key in the lifelong professional development of vocational school educators. There are several forms of teachers` professional development: teacher training courses, participation in various competitions, participation in international internships and international projects. The key point in the professional development nowadays is increasing the level of digital literacy. The professional development environment for vocational school educators includes collective (instructional and methodical meetings, schools of advanced educational experience, schools of industrial training masters, experimental educational platforms, pedagogical readings, seminars, trainings, webinars, master classes, etc.) and individual forms (individual consultations, conversations, attending lessons with subsequent analysis). The prospects for further study is the creation of conditions for professional development in industrial enterprises.
