Abstract
The article highlights the peculiarities of the organization of project activity of students of vocational education institutions of the Republic of Belarus. The experience and prospects of using project technology in solving design and development and engineering and technology problems is disclosed. The peculiarities of realization of professional-theoretical and professional-practical bases of the project technology are substantiated and the scheme of interaction of participants of the project activity process is presented. The author notes that for the first time students are acquainted with project activities in institutions of general secondary education of the Republic of Belarus. At this stage students are liked both mono projects and interdisciplinary where there is the opportunity to show themselves and their own creativity as well as to demonstrate the ability to integrate knowledge. The basis of the implementation of the project technology of teaching in the professional training of skilled employees of the Republic of Belarus is its practical orientation as well as the desire of teachers of vocational training to find the optimal balance between academic knowledge and pragmatic abilities of future professionals. It is found out that the project technology should be used in solving design and development and engineering and technology problems which require integration of knowledge on various subjects on the basis of independent practical activity of students. Most scholars consider the key factor of the successful implementation of the project in the institutions of vocational education of the Republic of Belarus is the correct its organization at all levels. The system is designed in such a way that not only the teacher and students are involved but also other subjects of the system of vocational education such as the administration of an educational institution, a librarian, a group curator, business representatives, a psychologist, etc.
