Abstract

The publication is devoted to the selection and analysis of factors that affect the formation of social values, the motivational and semantic sphere of society. It is emphasized that the functioning of political structures, any social institutions depends primarily on interpersonal and intergroup interaction. It is shown that social transformations not only led to a change in economic, political and cultural institutions, but also became a source of instability of the social environment, caused blurring of objects of identification, value orientations. The imbalance of moral, political, economic, cultural values, values and behavioral orientations exacerbate the processes of social anomie. It is proved that the new socio-political reality, cardinal changes of value orientations require the development of new social meanings (as a set of values, adjustment of needs, new dimensions of projective activity, definition of purpose and subordination of means to achieve it). The concept of "meaning" as a complex phenomenon is revealed. Possible directions of practical activity are offered taking into account the influence of domestic and foreign policy factors on the value-creative sphere of personality and public consciousness.
