Abstract
Determined the peculiarities of formation of communicative competence of primary school students in extracurricular activities of boarding schools, which requires consideration of two groups of factors. The first group of the factors includes: the sensitivity of primary school age to the formation of communicative competence of primary school students; the potential of extracurricular activities of boarding schools in the context of the researched problem. The second group of the factors is related to the presence of children in closed corporate groups, where the environment of their communication is limited; emotional simplicity of communication; lack of skills of non-situational communication: deficient, defective, destructive, among which the determining factor is deficient. This group of factors significantly complicates the process of forming communicative competence in primary school students of boarding schools.
