Abstract
The article considers the essence and content of information technology as a means of professional development of primary school teachers in the conditions of primary school reform in Ukraine. The goals, ways and prospects of using information technologies in primary school are outlined. It is proposed to create appropriate pedagogical conditions for the professional training of primary school teachers in the use of information technology in the centers of professional development of teachers. The directions of using information technologies in the conditions of reforming the primary school of Ukraine are determined: digital competence as a key priority – continuity of formation of this quality of teachers and applicants in join activities; development of web databases to help teachers; innovative content and new teaching methods – development of methodical web libraries and giving teachers free access to them; opportunity to create an individual trajectory of professional development – creating web resources where primary school teachers can get free access to the advice of methodologists / consultants of professional development centers for teachers and, if necessary, receive training in a webinar format; opportunity to study at home – creation and implementation of adaptive e-platforms for this form of learning; updated system of quality control of education– development of web tools with free access for teachers to monitor and evaluate applicants achievement; updated system of motivation for teachers – competitions, implementation of incentive measure, application of material rewards, which depend on the level of digital competencies; prevention and protection of primary school applicants from IT crimes, the impact of IT on human health – the creation of appropriate electronic educational resources, conversations, watching thematic videos, etc.; pedagogical diagnostics of professional development of primary school teachers.
