Abstract
Educational activities in university education institutions of Ukraine and the People’s Republic of China are aimed at training of highly qualified specialists capable of successfully working in the chosen professional sphere. The educational and pro- fessional training programs «Bachelor of Business Economics» in both Chinese and Ukrainian universities are based on high standards and requirements, which are to train professionals able to solve practical problems and complex specialized tasks in the field of economics on the basis of mastering the system of competencies. This article is devoted to a comparative analysis of educational and professional training programs «Bachelor of Business Economics» in five universities of Ukraine and China. The study focuses on elucidating a number of components of the educational programs and learning process. The duration of educational and professional programs and methodical bases of educational process are analyzed. The stages of study and the amount of ECTS credits required to obtain a bachelor’s degree are considered. The components of educational and professional programs «Bachelor of Business Economics» in the universities of Ukraine and China such as academic disciplines of general and professional training are described. The peculiarities of the educational program concerning the cycle of general and professional training and its volume are considered. The disciplines of general and professional training as components of the educational-professional program «Bachelor of Business Economics» in the universities of Ukraine and China are detailed. Considerable attention is paid to the analysis of the distribution of compulsory and elective components of educational and professional programs in Ukrainian and Chinese university education institutions. The curricula of the cycle of general and professional training are considered. The list of compulsory and elective disciplines is analyzed. The research also covers the issues of practical orientation of educational programs and assessment of students’ knowledge.
