Abstract

The monograph "Mechanisms for assessing the quality of higher education in the context of European integration" was prepared by the results of a fundamental study on the same topic in the policy department and governance in higher education of the Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. In work on the basis of theoretical and methodological substantiation, analysis and generalization of the best world, European and national experience are clarified modern approaches, indicators and criteria for assessing educational quality, defined a system of mechanisms assessing the quality of higher education, which are used by progressive regions and countries of the world and which are relevant for Ukraine in the context of European integration. The monograph will be useful for applicants, teachers, researchers, heads of higher education, people interested in the modernization of higher education in order to improve its quality, effective human development.
