Abstract

The textbook is based on the textbook of the same name, published almost ten years ago, which has passed experimental testing in a number of higher education institutions. Focusing on the conceptual principles of understanding social psychology as a fundamental psychological discipline developed at the Institute of Social and Political Psychology of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, the authors of the textbook define its subject, structure and functions, offer a new vision of problems in the world and in Ukraine. The psychological problems of regulation of social behavior, interpersonal interaction, social influence are analyzed. For the first time, the course of social psychology includes the topic of social situations, new topics of group psychology and psychology of the masses, social psychology of the individual. Due attention is paid to the practical tools of social psychologists. Addressed to students of higher education institutions majoring in "Psychology". It can be used in the process of preparing students for other specialties in the fields of knowledge 05 "Social and Behavioral Sciences" and 23 "Social Work". It will also be useful for social workers, specialists in the fields of management, politics, and mass communication.
