Abstract
The scientific report raises the unresolved problem of identification and characterization of personal learning outcomes of pupils in the New Ukrainian School. Attention is paid to the modern presentation of educational achievements of primary school pupils through characteristics that reflect the objective learning outcomes - knowledge, skills, abilities, experience of performing the methods of activities, subject competences, and subjective achievements of personality - experience of creative activity, skills that are common to all competences, key competences, personal achievements of pupils. The definition of groups of personal achievements of first-graders and their corresponding characteristics is substantiated: motivational (shows interest in learning, shows diligence in learning); cognitive (actively works at the lesson, asks questions about the new and unclear); social and communicative (cooperates with other children, resolves conflicts peacefully); organizational and regulatory (shows independence in work, works intently); reflexive (takes responsibility for own actions, finds successful ways to solve problems). Such indicators of personal characteristics can be used as a tool that will allow the teacher in the course of pedagogical observations to find out which of them more accurately reflects the behavior and characteristics of the child in the school environment, how the child masters the emotional and value attitudes to the world, him-/herself and other people.
