Abstract

At the present stage of development of the both American and Ukrainian society, education plays an extremely important role. It is concluded that the education system should be radically modernized taking into the challenges of the future. Therefore, it is now necessary to increase the requirements for student training, expand the scope of education and transform the competencies of students for successful self-realization in professional activities, personal life, social activity. Such as communication in state and foreign languages, mathematical literacy, competences in natural sciences and technologies, information and digital competence, lifelong learning skills, social and civic competences, entrepreneurship and financial literacy, general cultural literacy, environmental literacy and healthy living.
