Abstract
The information society determines changes in both production and value-oriented mental maps of millions of people, lifestyles, systems and hierarchies of values. Continuing education and self-study, self-development, cultural leisure in relation to material values are becoming increasingly important. The process of production and consumption of goods, characteristic of industrial society, is changing, because in a society of a new type the intelligence, it's development, knowledge and information become the main means and product of production, ensuring the growth of the segment of mental labor and intellectual development. Representatives of the information society live in the context of the demand for creativity, thinking and knowledge. Education, in particular through the Internet on the basis of using infocommunicative and multimedia technologies, is becoming a key social and personal value.
