Abstract

The article describes the features of competency-based training of junior specialists in technical schools and colleges. The necessity of preparing junior specialists for the technical and operational level of professional ac- tivity is substantiated. The directions and tasks of the modernization of the educational process in colleges in the context of the competency-based approach are identified.
