Abstract
The paper notes that the tasks included in the current textbooks and manuals on the Ukrainian language for students of 10th grade philological profile, are not sufficiently aimed at improving the culture of oral and written speech and stimulating cognitive activity of high school students. It is determined that the solution of the outlined problem is facilitated by the method of dialogic interaction in connection with speech development, work on replenishment of active vocabulary of students by studying new lexical units, revealing communicative-pragmatic aspect of semantics of analyzed word in situational context.
