Abstract
The abstracts describe the options for students to study Polish and Ukrainian in Ukraine. The readers' attention is focused on the essence of the concept of "translation". It is emphasized that a prerequisite for the use of translation to effectively enrich the vocabulary of students from the Polish language, from the Ukrainian language in terms of bilingualism, is to take into account its specifics (first of all - what language is native). Ways of acquainting students with new lexical units with the use of translation methods are described. The factors that influence the methods of semantization are listed. It is noted that for effective enrichment of students' vocabulary in the conditions of Ukrainian-Polish bilingualism it is possible to use different forms of translation depending on the form of presentation, correspondence to the original, completeness of content transfer.
