Abstract

The article is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor VF Palamarchuk. The issue of the role of the scientist-didactic as the founder of the scientific school, its scientific achievements, contribution to the development of domestic didactics and innovative pedagogy, pedagogical forecasting, schools of a new type in Ukraine is covered. The main scientific ideas of VF Palamarchuk, which became the theoretical basis for the innovative scientific direction in didactics, are stated. The concepts of scientific achievements of the scientist in the context of modern tasks of school education are outlined.
