Abstract
The article considers the didactic conditions of using technologies of integrated learning of natural subjects in general secondary educational institutions, their essence, structural components and efficiency. Based on theoretical and empirical data, it is substantiated that "integrated learning technologies" is a set of learning technologies that are used both in the teaching of integrated natural science courses and in the separate study of natural science subjects and aimed at the overall result – the formation of a holistic scientific worldview. Competences, primarily in the field of natural sciences, engineering and technology. The conceptual basis of integrated learning technologies is the theory of integration (integrative approach), competence-based and system-activity paradigm of the educational process. Content-procedural and diagnostic parts of technologies of integrated learning of natural subjects are provided by integrated tasks. The term integrated task should be understood as a task that has the characteristics of contextual, complex, situational, practice-oriented, competence. The key forms and methods of technologies of integrated learning of natural subjects are educational projects, integrated lessons, active teaching methods (debates, scientific conferences, discussions, etc.). Experimental results of the use of integrated learning technologies have revealed the dynamism of students’ activities, regardless of their inclinations to the humanities or technical fields. Solving integrated problems provides a stable relationship: the breadth of cognitive interests – a conscious perception of the problem as complex and personally significant – the need to identify relationships – creative approach – the ability to think systematically (critically) – the ability to apply knowledge and skills in a complex – formation of key competences – scientific outlook – intellectual and emotional development of the individual. The use of integrated learning technologies allows to eliminate the monotony of the educational environment and sameness of the educational process, creates conditions for changing the activities of students, ensures the integrity of knowledge. Integrated learning technologies are general didactic in nature, but may differ depending on learning objectives, integration aims, peculiarities of the subject content, expected learning outcomes, level of preparedness of students, the possibility to meet their educational needs and inclinations, age category of students.
