Abstract
The article presents the results of scientific research on the model of teaching the integrated course on Science to students of the 10th and 11th grades of general secondary education institutions, its theoretical substantiation and practical verification of quality and effectiveness. Under Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine №863 of 03.08.2018 "On conducting an experiment of the all-Ukrainian level "Development and implementation of educational and methodological support for the integrated course on Science for the 10th and 11th grades of general secondary education institutions" during August 2018 - October 2022" the approbation of the course has been started. At the beginning of the experiment, teachers and students had four versions of the curriculum (optional), a small and unsystematic number of methodological recommendations and teaching materials, which were mostly presented in electronic format. There was a problem that needed an immediate solution, namely how to organize the educational process in the absence of a full educational and methodological support for the course. The most effective in this case is the organization of education using elements of elearning. Based on theoretical and empirical research, we have developed and tested a model for such education that ensures the achievement of certain competences and learning outcomes of students. The leading approaches that are applicable in our model are modular approach, activity oriented approach, competence-based approach and personality oriented one. The leading form of education is blended. Among the teaching methods we single out the method of projects, collaborative learning, methods of research-based learning. Among the techniques we designate the following: working with information, creating information products. Among the types of assessment formative one is taken. The main electronic resources include educational Internet resources (a group of official websites of institutions, publishing houses, blogs of participants in the experiment), which covers regulatory and educational support for the implementation of the course on Science; a group of thematic information, scientific and educational resources (libraries, distance courses, etc.), a group of digital tools and services (virtual boards, trainers, online testing, etc.).
