Abstract

The article substantiates the need to consider the quality management of adult education as a separate direction of the state personnel policy in the sphere of education, as a task of public administration of education, the implementation of which is based on a set of special principles. Attention is focused on the features of ensuring and managing of the adult education quality, which is due to the specifics of the subject-subject interaction of the participants in the management process. Various views on the essence of the term "adult education" are analyzed. The author proposes a definition of the term "quality of adult education" as a management category. Revealed its content as an educational system, as an educational process and as the level of education of the individual.
