Abstract

The basis of scientific historical and pedagogical research is historiographic analysis, which allows one to determine the goals, objectives, the degree of elaboration of the problem under study and its scientific novelty. Justification of the school education of special institutions carries an important theoretical and practical significance for modern education, as it helps to understand the role of boarding schools in the formation and improvement of the system of social education of children.
