Abstract

The methodological recommendations provide a career guidance and diagnostic test system "Interests and Abilities", which is aimed at a two-way study of personality — motivational structure (professional interests, aptitudes) and structure of inclinations and abilities. This allows to make mathematically reasonable prediction of academic and professional success identity in various fields.Diagnostic techniques have been standardized. Normative data are formed on the Ukrainian sample. The test system is recommended for solving the problem of professional orientation and career counseling of gifted lyceum students. The methodical recommendations are addressed to teachers, psychologists, employees of educational institutions who work with gifted children and students, as well as toresearchers, postgraduate students, teachers of psychological and pedagogical disciplines.
