Abstract

The article emphasizes the importance of presenting the results of historical and pedagogical research and bringing them to the widest possible audience, taking into account modern technical capabilities. It has been substantiated that the newest information technologies have both direct (appearance of new forms of popularization, transformation of traditional ones) and indirect influence on popularization of Vasyl Sukhomlynsky's heritage, caused by the change of ways of perception of information by its consumer. It is proved that currently there are two main directions of influence of new information technologies on popularization of the teacher's heritage: 1) quantitative changes which are manifested in growth of information flows, in particular, emergence and active distribution of social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Viber, etc.), 2) qualitative changes that result in new forms of heritage promotion (a popular science site, a computer program), and traditional forms are virtualized (a virtual museum, a virtual exhibition, an electronic library, an electronic resource, an online project, etc.). Modern forms of popularization of V. Sukhomlynsky's heritage by the Pedagogical Museum of Ukraine and the State Scientific and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine named after V.O. Sukhomynsky by means of the latest information technologies are the page "Vasyl Oleksandrovych Sukhomlynsky (1918-1970)" of the electronic information and the bibliographic resource "Outstanding Teachers of Ukraine and the World", the virtual exhibition "Kyiv of Sukhomlynsky", the online projects "Sukhomlinsky News" and "Let's Read Sukhomlynsky Online", the meeting of the round table "Collections of Works by V.O. Sukhomlynsky: Literary and Pedagogical Discourse" in Google Meet online platform. Promising projects to promote the teacher's heritage are outlined: the online project "Sukhomlynsky's Aphorisms" and the adaptation of artistic miniatures by V. Sukhomlinsky for people with severe visual impairments by translating the published stories of the teacher in the doc. format and audio files read by professional actors.
