Abstract

The article presents a new page "Orlay Ivan Semenovych" of information and bibliographic resource "Outstanding teachers of Ukraine and the world", posted on the website of the V. O. Sukhomlynskyi SSPL of Ukraine. The following sections are presented: "Publications about the life and work of I.S. Orlay", "I.S. Orlay`s Works", "Photo Gallery", "Honoring the memory". An array of biographical, bibliographic, and visual information is published in the rubrics, revealing the figure of a prominent Ukrainian scientist, educational reformer of the end of the 18th - the first third of the 19th century I.S. Orlay. It is shown that the pedagogical ideas of the scientist are relevant in the current conditions of development of the national education system.
