Abstract
The monograph presents the results of a collective study of the problems of using computer modeling systems for the design of cognitive tasks and the formation of students' competencies in science and mathematics in general secondary education in Ukraine. Based on the analysis of scientific research of foreign and domestic scientists, the state of development of the digital educational environment of educational institutions, modern approaches, a certain theoretical and methodological apparatus, the concept of "computer modeling system", conceptual model, models of use and implementation of computer modeling in institutions general secondary education; stages of design, forms and methods of using cognitive tasks in the educational process; features of designing and computer modeling, approaches to complex formation of competences of pupils on natural and mathematical subjects in establishments of general secondary education are opened; emphasis is placed on the issues of safe use of the Internet. Designed for researchers, research and teaching staff, doctoral students, graduate students, undergraduates, teachers of postgraduate pedagogical education, teachers of general secondary education, who deal with theoretical and practical problems of improving the quality of education on the basis of information and communication technologies in educational practice.
