Abstract

The study deals with transcultural and sociolinguistic knowledge which is one of the necessary functional results of future translators’ training. In the process of acquiring transcultural and sociolinguistic knowledge and skills, students’ transcultural competence is formed. The system of translators’ transcultural knowledge as well as methods and forms of shaping future translators’ transcultural competence are considered.
