Abstract

Presented is one of the urgent problems of our time - the prevention of school violence. The article identifies effective actions to reduce the number of cases of violence in the educational environment, provides a list of life skills, the acquisition of which helps to reduce violence. The focus is on the skills of effective communication, empathy, conflict resolution, resisting social pressure, advocacy and defense, self-awareness and self-esteem, problem analysis and decision-making, critical thinking, self-control, stress management, motivation for success, and will-building.
