Abstract

The paper analyzes the role and place of "Museums for children and young people" as non-school modern institutions in terms of their interaction with the secondary school of the Republic of Poland. It is noted that "Museums for children and young people" have significant educational potential. It is emphasized that museums of this type use various forms of activity, namely: school trips, festivals, club meetings, youth programs, family exhibitions, etc. It is concluded that "Museums for children and young people" or "Science Centre" have a dynamic nature of development, contribute to the dissemination of science and scientific knowledge among young people, the formation of social competencies and socialization of children, creative creativity and imagination, and teach rational and critical thinking with world cultural heritage.
