Abstract

The article is devoted to the peculiarities of social protection in the field of employment of creative youth in Ukraine. High intellectual potential, mobility and flexibility of young people gives them the opportunity to influence the social progress of the country, determining the future of society, the state and the world community. This impact depends on how actively young people are involved in social processes. At the same time, young people face significant difficulties in entering public and social life, in particular in the employment process. The purpose of the article is to highlight proposals for the development of social protection of youth in the field of employment in Ukraine and the results of monitoring the problems of student employment. Surveys and monitoring were conducted among senior students, future social workers. To do this, a questionnaire was developed, consisting of several questions. 40 students took part in the survey. Statistics show that the remuneration needs of young professionals are much higher than the current level of salaries in social services. This may indicate the reluctance of young professionals to work in the specialty after graduation. The authors determined that social activities with creative youth in need of employment should include the orientation of the individual to the physical, social and artistic-aesthetic aspects, i.e. take into account the profiles of academic, aesthetic and practical talent of the individual. The authors emphasize that modern youth, in turn, should be not only a passive user of public goods, but also an active participant in social processes. Overcoming unemployment is possible through a responsible attitude of young people to education, self-employment, development of entrepreneurial initiatives. The adaptation of creative youth to market employment conditions objectively forces the latter to participate in entrepreneurship, various forms of small business, which stimulates the development of the economy as a whole.
