Abstract

The normative-legal support of the development of andragogical competence of teachers in higher education institutions is analyzed. It is noted that it provides for the creation of conditions for training and improvement of specialists after obtaining higher or postgraduate education. The main types, forms and directions of professional development of teachers are determined.
