Abstract
The article outlines the psychological and pedagogical conditions under which the process of teaching children with moderate intellectual disability through the use of spatial signs and symbols is effectively carried out. The author focuses on the main content and structure of correctional classes, points to the sequence of use of tasks that are differentiated in nature, taking into account the individual characteristics of the child, in particular the individual order of inclusion in the work of inter-analyzer systems. The general description of conditions in the context of 4 stages of training is given.
