Abstract

Approaches to the final assessment of graduates of basic secondary education are revealed. The necessity of revising the conceptual basis of the state final certification of gymnasium graduates in Ukraine is substantiated, taking into account the place of this educational level in the structure of complete secondary education. The priority of determining the goal, main purpose and method of using the results of the final test for further education of graduates of the basic level of secondary education is emphasized.
